Backlogs...Business....

posted on Aug 15, 2007 11:53AM

In my conversation with RP he stated that EDig "already had over two more million dollars in sales DONE this quarter" (July-August-September)

I am hoping that I am not being "naive" in believing what RP said (per what LL thinks when I listen to the man) (and I am hoping that RP was not "blowing blue sky" at me to give me those positive feelings that LL says is his job to do with shareholders..etc..)

Sorry LL I just had to throw all that in because you consistently remind all of us to use "caution" when digesting what RP says so I am being cautious and not trying to be naive in disclaiming the "facts" RP mentioned.

I then asked, as I have stated in recent blurbs, if there was more business to be reported for this quarter or next. He said there was....

I am going way out on a limb here and injecting my own thoughts about what that last statement means by saying "I think that is what is meant by the "backlog" being prominately discussed here.

Months, perhaps years, ago, I was told facts on the amount  (dollars or units) of business done would not be announced until that business WAS SHIPPED and I think RECEIVED by the ordering company. EDig DID NOT CONSIDER THAT BUSINESS DONE UNTIL THAT OCCURED.

The two mil has been announced so therefore "it has been done". according to EDig's guidelines.

RP said there was more business in hand "this quarter I think, if not next quarter" but since it has not been shipped, therefore not received it is not entered into EDig's books. This is the backlog, but NOT a backlog that EDig has that it cannot handle because it is overloaded and cannot manufacture for whatever reason. A good thing to have in my opinion....
