batteries are batteries.....the tech improves   through the efforts of the manufactures.

However, additional to those efforts, are the manners in which e.Digital implement their IP for power saving. They remove the burden of refresh needed for RAM resource. The constant refresh cycles, equate to power consumption of any battery.

This technique is not as transferable, without crossing into the e.Digital realm, for it has nothing to do with battery manufactures.
