The ideas they have put forward ie: streaming....will work the same from any storage media. Their OS allows them to drive the data right through a very small high speed cache....matched in size to the read/write blocks of the media.

The media can be of any make.

This is all because of a patented data segment structure....having nothing to do with media types.
