IC developers that e.Digital will/have to pay close attention to... like ADI /Intel,  Xilinx, Actel, TI,  Cypress, SigmaTel, ....etc... Of the list, e.Digital has worked directly and indirectly with 4 of the above.

With that,  IC companies like Cypress, that farm their development out to private companies, ie: QuickLogic....will be even harder to deal with.

DSP application developers such as Ittiam....www.ittiam.com/pages/products/dma.htm....are another factor to deal with.

Pat Nunally has a full plate. He's going to be watching application developers....IC developers looking for the next best bios arrangements....flash memory developments utilized in like manners, such as Intel/Lexar....and now with security developments under patent application....they're going to have to keep an eye on that arena.

Then there are past/present companies we don't even know about, dealing with details we don't know about.

What was the name of the medical dictation device they were involved with? Who handled that IC?
