I can say withL certainty that most of the long time shareholders share your frustration expressed in the following quote from your post:...

"Why is it that eDigital have one after another reputable company make working announcement, agreements etc. and nothing ever pans out?"...

There is an explanation for this...

FIRST:

In the heydays of 1999-2000, when EDIG hit the scenne, dot coms were cxpanding like the wildfire, and the Internet \Revolution was driving a new era of communication which ushered in fiberoptics and the Key concept of Convergence. It was clear then that Digital Data Transmission  would be the Key Element in bringing such concepts into reality.

It was during those times that EDIG became one of the original five members of the group set up to help usher the digital era in. The group included such giants as Intel, Teax Instruments, IBM, and Microsoft...

In fact Intel set e of its VP'S on the EDIG Board, and TI became a partner with EDIG, which helped TI create its DSP revolution, promosing to send "Customers" to EDIG...

SECOND:

EDIG, (meaning, WOODY NORRIS), has always planned to follow the Qualcom business model. The only exception was during the short inerwall when they set to manufacture widgets and almost went bankrupt. Had there been no CRASH of the TECH BUBBLE in March of 2000 they may have suceeded...

The crash of 2000 made companies very cautious, and the big ones like intel retrenched concentrating on bringing the hardware along (like Centrino) which would catch up with the developing WideBand expansion legilated by the Congress, all of which was aimed and making digital data transmission possible...

In a way all EDIG had to do was to survive to a point in time when Intel, TI, IBM, Samsung, Fujitsu, Microsoft, Portal Player, Apple, and 130 more companies were making billions, (the Sharehodler Alert did say they have identified 137 comanies and 1358 products that infirnge on their patents, right?), and seek royalties...

And the fact of the matter is that the DIGITAL RIVER is growing by the minutes, and the future for EDIG Patents is far brighter than the share of the Moore Patents...

When you look at it this way, instead of getting MAD, you will have a smirk on your lips like the Cat that drank the milk put out for SANTA CLAUS...Lol...Lol...

Good Luck to all...
