I'm sure this question has been asked before, but can ZHCLF be properly held in a TFSA?

I know the shares that were spun out in 2013 can be (according to RVX correspondence at the time), and that ZHCLF are the "same" shares, but I don't know if the mechanism by which they were acquired (spin-out vs purchased on OTC) matters.
