Hey Fluff... It was recently announced: "James Jordan, P.Eng., to the position of Project Manager with initial responsibility for overseeing all metallurgical functions related to the Company’s upcoming pilot plant."
Would it be fair to say that ZEN has completed a conceptual design of the pilot plant and are now in the process of building this plant? By completing this key initiative ZEN will have the ability to process smaller amounts however it will be consistent product for end users. Product that will resemble exactly what they will receive from a large scale commercial plant. This is in fact key for companies like Lariplast, VW, Panasonic and SiNode who would need to know their specifications can be produced prior to any agreements to purchase.
To quote: "In the development of new processes, the design and operation of the pilot plant will often run in parallel with the design of the future commercial plant, and the results from pilot testing programs are key to optimizing the commercial plant flowsheet. It is common in cases where process technology has been successfully implemented that the savings at the commercial scale resulting from pilot testing will significantly outweigh the cost of the pilot plant itself."
