I am not doubting the price range but keep a few things in mind:
1. RPA uses conservative numbers as a rule
2. There currently are no off-take agreemenst to support the price, AE indicated there are letters of support form end users, not the same but still supportive
3. Even if we can sell at $20K can we sell the entire 50,000+ tonnes per year? Or do we sell 10K tonnes at $20K and 20K tonnes at $12K etc etc? With no off-takes, RPA has to also estimate the AVERAGE price. Someone like CCB might use $20K but they may only sell 3,000 tonnes a year.
Lots of numbers in play here, which is why I think we will see a range, maybe the range goes higher. But in all likelihood the higher the annual production the lower the AVERAGE price. Dr. C at some point stated they were targeting large volumes in the $14-15K price range.
I actually don't think it will matter that much given that the margin is already so high. If the cost were $7,000 per tonne it would make a lot of difference.
