Libya plans $10 billion in oil investments

Libya announced on Thursday (September 10th) plans to invest $10 billion to develop 24 oil wells, JANA reported. Only the National Oil Company and its subsidiaries will be included in the development scheme, which aims to increase production at the Waha-Jalou North field by 100,000 barrels a day and production at the Nafoura-Ouljaa-Khleej field by 130,000 barrels a day. A resolution by the Libyan cabinet indicates the plan will be completed in 2013
