Billions Set for Development Programme in Libya for Next Budget (2009)

The General People's Congress has issued a decision to allocate billions of Libyan Dinars for development programmes in the next budget .
At the end of its session in the coastal city of Sirte this evening the congress, the congress announced that it has decided to allocate 21.500.000.000 for development projects.
The congress said in the final decisions that it has allocated more than 8 billion Libyan Dinars for salaries and bonuses and nearly 5 billion to meet public administration costs.
