The Tenth Mediterranean Petroleum Conference and Exhibition (MPC2008) have again proved to be successful in offering a variety of technological innovations serving both the upstream and downstream sectors of the oil industry. It continues to offer a unique forum for petroleum professionals who seek to transfer or acquire the technology needed to sustain and/or to improve production and operations within their organizations. The Scientific Committee received an excellent response to the call for papers from local and international companies, universities, higher institutes and research centers. More than RO Technical papers in the various disciplines of the oil and gas industry were presented. Delegates from the petroleum industry, including producing and service companies, together with representatives from universities, academic institutions and research centers, participated in the conference by presenting scientific papers on their experiences and/or achievements in scientific research in the oil and gas industry. An exhibition featuring the latest advanced technology in the oil and gas industry also took place during the three days of the conference.

This volume contains the papers presented at the conference which covers three days of technical sessions. These papers were screened from the large number sent to the Scientific Committee. These proceedings contain technical papers as provided by their authors.
