Not really looking to rain on the parade....but, could the reason the Court (aka "Police Escort") be involved, is because there is a "counterclaim lawsuit" against the companies???? I don't think this has ever been settled, has it??? I don't think you could legally sell something (without court approval) if another company has possible dibs on said assets

I'm not betting much on this "spec stock" but if it does up.... I'll be out fast...

Bell Canada's Statement of Defence and Counterclaim claims, amongst other things, and in addition to damages for trade payables, damages in the amount of $2.3 million for credit notes improperly issued by Bell, and $1 million in aggravated and/or punitive damages.
