Yesterday afternoon I spoke to Sean, the Barkerville President's son, who said they would have started producing this month but decided due to challenges of winter and low gold price, they'd wait until the market improved before mining. He said all in production costs were about $900 per ounce and that Williams Creek was on Barkerville property, but they only had rights to the placer portion whereas Barkerville had rights to the hard rock beneath the placer.
