Thanks Skeleg for pointing out the news of Agnico's acquisition of Comaplex. It is illuminating to pull out a ten year chart of Comaplex to get some further perspective on the ups and downs of the juniors. During that 10 years, Comaplex's low was 66 cents on Nov. 9, 2001, it rose to a high of $6.75 in October and November of 2007, fell very, very sharply from over $6 in 2008 to just $1.07 by Dec. 5, 2008, and then began a moonshot to a height of $8.75 on January 18 this year.
I continue to believe that we have the potential for a sharp rise up in the not too distant future, and I note that even success stories can get hit hard by general market conditions or other sharp temporary sell-offs along the way.
Here is to enjoying the ride!
