I havnt had a chance to watch the videos but I never saw a huge difference between JP and Schiff , one of Schiffs main points was that China and other countries would decouple from the US, and as of now that is very debatable, the market has been saying for months the the Euro , OZ$ and the Yuan are just as cra**y as the dollar?

One big difference a couple of years back was that Peter set up a hedge fund to short the subprime debt when it was still at par ,(excellent call) but otherwise he never made a point of trying to short US assets
