Ya, this was a good week for posts.
I choose B as well, although I've added a few (emphasise few) long expiration, out of money Puts on some consumer discretionary companies, namely Whirlpool, Darden Restaurants (boston pizza, olive garden and a few others), Abercrombie and Fitch, Nike to name a few. I've just taken entry positions...they may enjoy a small run up in the ensuing weeks and then I'll add to my Puts.
However, most of my money is in a mix of Physical bullion, CEF, gold producers, juniors and a heap of New Gold warrants and a large stock of wine and cognac to weather the storm with.
New Gold is one of my favorite companies. They have 1 Billion in assets, over $300,000,000 in cash but a market cap of about $800,000,000. They just beginning production or soon will be producing in a couple of mines. Management is top notch and well respected (Bob Gallagher is the CEO). Look for them to make a few big aquisitions during the next few months. The warrants expire in 2012 and I think are a raving good investment.
By the way, if anyone has any other companies they want me to stop in at that might be at the show, email me.
