I am all for a lively discussion with dissenting views. The problem comes when frustration and anonymity cause people to behave in a way that they would never do in a personal conversation.
By their nature these boards should be mostly positive as the majority of people here have decided it merits their hard earned dollars. Most of of us here have been in this game for awhile and take that into account.
No sane person is going to buy a stock because someone they never met on an anonymous stock forum told them to.
It takes a lot of work to research stocks. If people are not prepared to do their homework they should not be investing in these companies. They should buy a mutual fund or an ETF instead.
