It's interesting to see the commissions people are paying to buy Tyhee.

I went for TYHJF.PK instead of TDC.V because I can do so electronically through my Vanguard account web page (I think I can access TSX stocks by contacting the brokerage by phone, but haven't tried). But each time there is a 1% or so extra fee because "the stock is under $1."

So $10,000 in TYHJF.PK ends up costing $100 + $25 regular fee (or something like that).

I thought this was normal, and didn't really mind as I am long and holding, not day trading. But reading the posts here, I can't help feeling I got a little ripped off!
