Last week we saw a buying opportunity in BYV-Bayfield Ventures. I took advantage and averaged up. With a 50,000 metre drill program we can expect constant news flow. So far, their drill results have been the same or better than Rainy River's-RR who is located next door. I received this message from the company after they released some drill results last week.

"I would suggest the first dip in share price at the open was people who do not understand the play and were looking for more high-grade. This release was not associated with the high-grade zone. We are drilling to delineate the high-grade zone now. The second drop in the share price was caused by external forces. Gold sold off and the venture market sold off starting around 8:30-9:00am. From our prospective nothing has changed. We are proving up the western extension of the RR open pit zone."

The stock will most likely go over $1.00 today. Anything under .95cents was like taking candy from a baby.

Osisko-OSK also saw a big declined. The stock got oversold and believe this is a longer term play. I increased my position on Friday and OSK is now my biggest holding.

Exeter Resources-XRC has disappointed me lately. I had stop losses in place that got taken out before the financing. I am thinking of taking a position again today. At current prices it's very attractive. Longer term this stock will be taken out at much higher prices.

Great Basin Gold-GBG- I own a big position in this company. It's one of my favourites and it's probably one the cheapest gold producers out there which will see a big production jump.

Gammon Gold-GAM saw a nice pullback. Under $7.00 this stock is a great buy.

Canacol Energy-CNE- was on fire last week and the run up will most likely continue today. I said it many time that this company has the same characteristics as an early stage PRE-Pacific Rubiales.

Ocean Gold-OGC- had a nice pull back and will try to test $4.00 again. Earning are coming out and expect they will impress investors.
