October 24th 2010 Lex Corp Goes Nuclear-Updated

Yesterday I took big position in a few Uranium Plays. Yes, you heard it right Uranium. I believe Uranium is getting ready for a big run up over the next 12mths. It's the way of the future-clean energy.

Uranium Prices Will Advance 19% Next Year, Morgan Stanley Says

Oct. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Uranium prices will average $52.25 a pound next year, 19 percent higher than this year, as new supplies are expected to lag behind an increase in demand for the nuclear fuel, Morgan Stanley said in a report.

This year through mid-October, uranium oxide concentrate for immediate delivery averaged $43.78 a pound (0.45 kilogram), and in 2012 prices are forecast to rise to $60, Morgan Stanley analysts Peter Richardson and Joel Crane said in a report today.

Spot uranium was at $49.25 a pound in the week through Oct. 18, according to Roswell, Georgia-based Ux Consulting Co. A nearly balanced uranium market make prices “vulnerable to supply shocks and/or new build announcements,” Richardson and Crane wrote.

This year’s average is 6 percent below last year’s level and almost 30 percent lower than the average in 2008, according to the report. “The steady, two-year erosion in uranium prices has translated into difficult mining breakeven points, particularly for new uranium projects,” the analysts said.

Lower uranium prices made supply growth “increasingly dependent” on production from Kazakhstan, the analysts wrote. Kazakhstan produced 14,020 metric tons of uranium last year, surpassing Canada as the world’s largest producer, according to data from the World Nuclear Association.

Demand for fuel was expected to rise by 24 percent through 2015 as new nuclear plant capacity “is rapidly coming online and the planned project pipeline is briskly increasing,” according to the report.

More Nuclear Plants

China is planning to increase its nuclear capacity six-fold and India aims to add 20 to 30 new reactors by 2020, according to the WNA. In addition, demand from developed economies is also set to rise on “concerns over carbon-emission costs and energy-supply security,” according to the report.

Over the next decade there will be an additional 147 nuclear plants coming online, according to Morgan Stanley.

These plants will require 32,900 tons of nuclear fuel, almost half of the demand from this year’s 443 commercial reactors, according to the report. Most of the demand growth will have to be met by mines as secondary supplies from recycled Russian warheads may cease with the end of an international agreement in 2013, according to the report.

Uraniums Plays I Have Recently Purchased

Lately, alot of the junior stocks have been trending higher. I have been paying attention to a dozen of uraniums stock. Here are the one's I recently bought. Some of these stocks are trading under $1.00. I highly recommend doing your due diligence before jumping into any of these stocks. One thing I would do, is see is how high these stocks were trading back in 2007 when Uranium prices made an all time high. I believe if Uranium prices were to run up fiercely again-(like it did in 2007)- these stocks will be trading 5000% higher. I think we can see 2007 prices by 2015. If you don't want to take big risks in junior uranium stocks, then I recommend looking at Cameco-CCO.to or Uranium Participation-U.to.

Bannerman Resources-BAN.to: has a world class uranium deposit-162mil.lbs. At .48cents I believe this stock is cheap and has lots of upside. To big of a resource to ignore. In 2008 this stock was trading over $3.00. This is one of my favorites.

This link has the CEO giving a presentation: http://www.brr.com.au/event/68649

Bannerman Resources Limited is an emerging uranium development company with interests in uranium exploration and development properties in Namibia and Botswana, southern Africa. Our principal and most significant asset is an 80 per cent interest in the Etango Project, located near the western coast of Namibia, southern Africa.

Bannerman offers investors access to a uranium project of extraordinary scale. The Etango Projectis one of the world's largest undeveloped uranium deposits, boasting a total resource of 162 million pounds (73,400 tonnes) of uranium oxide (U3O8). We are focussed on the feasibility study assessment and development of a 5-7 million pounds (U3O8) per annum open-pit mining operation at Etango.

Pele Mountain Resources-GEM.v: has Uranium, Rare Earth Elements and Gold assets. In 2007 this stock was trading around $1.30.

Message from CEO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=co80LTIO04A

Pele Mountain Resources is focused on the sustainable development of its Eco Ridge Mine Uranium and Rare Earth Elements ("REE") project, located in the Elliot Lake mining camp of Northern Ontario. Pele's expert team of technical personnel, advisors, and consultants is working to optimize mining, processing, and waste management techniques at Eco Ridge.

With well-understood geology, excellent regional infrastructure, and strong local support, Eco Ridge provides an ideal location for a safe, secure, and reliable long-term supply of Uranium and REE. Additionally, Pele has, or is actively seeking, qualified strategic partners to advance its other high-potential exploration projects, including high-grade gold properties at Highland and Ardeen.

Mega Uranium-MGA.to: as of June 2010 the company had $53.3mil.in cash. Plus,..they are a near term producer. The Maitland Project in Australia could be in production by 2013. This project would have 10yr mine life producing aprox. 1.65mil.lbs a year. At .69cent I believe there is alot more upside. In 2007 this stock was trading just over $8.00.

Titan Uranium-TUE.v: in 2007 this stock was trading around $3.00. Can we see these prices again? On higher uranium price I believe we can. This one currently trades around .23cents.

Company growth strategy is driven by three elements:

• Development: A preliminary study has been completed at the Sheep Mountain Uranium Project, Wyoming. The deposit contains a NI 43-101 compliant Probable Reserve of 14.2 million pounds of U3O8 at 0.111% eU3O8. (6.4 million tons). The study shows a pre-tax NPV of $101 million, with an IRR of 25%.

• Exploration: The goal is to discover world class uranium deposits by exploring over 1.5M acres of land in the proven Athabasca and prospective Thelon Basins. Exploration programs are also active in Utah and Wyoming.

• Consolidation: The company is actively pursuing M & A opportunities and focused on uranium-friendly jurisdictions such as Saskatchewan and Wyoming.

Tournigan Energy-TVC.v: has a excellent uranium projects. At .24cents this stock is cheap and provide big upside. In 2007 this stock was trading over $4.00.

website: http://www.tournigan.com/s/home.asp

Tournigan(TM) is a uranium exploration and development company with a portfolio of highly prospective properties in Europe. The company's flagship Kuriskova property is a high-grade uranium deposit in Eastern Slovakia. In addition to the NI 43-101 compliant resource already delineated at Kuriskova, there is significant exploration upside in the surrounding licences, also controlled by Tournigan. The current resource at Kuriskova is 20.5 million pounds U3O8 indicated contained in 1.6 million tonnes at 0.571% U3O8 and 17.5 million pounds U3O8 inferred contained in 3.5 million tonnes at 0.228% U3O8; cut-off of 0.05%U. Tournigan's uranium licences include the Novoveska Huta uranium deposit - where the company is re-evaluating the geologic model of the deposit to determine whether there is potential to improve the grade from that of the historic resource - as well as numerous prospective exploration targets.

In June of 2009, Tournigan announced the results of a positive Preliminary Assessment of the Kuriskova uranium deposit prepared by an independent consultant. The study revealed that the Kuriskova project has robust economic potential and could be developed using conventional mining and processing methods. It estimated that project payback would be within approximately one-third of the projected mine life and production costs would be substantially below projected long-term sales prices. More details of the Preliminary Assessment are disclosed in the news release dated July 27, 2009

UEX Corporation-UEX.to: Is another one of my favorites. They have multiple projects with lot of uranium in the ground and growing. Cameco owns 23.26% of the o/s of this company and I believe it makes them a take over target. Their Shea Creek Project is turning out to be a world class uranium discovery. In 2007 they were trading over $8.00.

Uranium Participation-U.to: A less risky play, but a great way to play the uranium market. This stock in 2007 was trading just over $18.00. Uranium Participation Corporation is an investment holding company which invests substantially all of its assets in uranium, either in the form of uranium oxide in concentrates ("U3O8") or uranium hexafluoride ("UF6"), with the primary investment objective of achieving appreciation in the value of its uranium holdings. Uranium Resources-URRE-nasdaq: My wife owns this one in her portfolio and I will probably be buying this one in my portfolio this week. This stock touched $14.00 U.S in 2007. They have excellent projects and they are a producer. They have a very large uranium resource aprox. 101mil.lbs.
