I agree the latest reviews haven't been that stellar for Poynt. Probably hard to establish direction and maintain motivation/loyalty after what Osis put them through. I like the design and fluidity much better than the old app. I believe they moved it to the cloud hence the speed is much faster. Having a solid footing that Poynt employees can call home should go a long way. Have to wonder if Poynt wasn't just put in "care and maintenance" until a buyer could be found. I don't think they have much technical expertise at INT.v since they consider themselves an incubator vs developer. Any chicken can sit on an egg. :)

In Poynt's heyday they were referred to by Blackberry as a super app. It was even featured on the phone during their Superbowl commercial in 2010???

Three years is a long time for a technology/software but it still seems relavent. I am really curious how they will combine 2YA and Poynt. Also can't help but wonder if it will emain predominately a retail app or will they be incorporated into "chat' in a YELP-esk kind of way.
