China's chrome ore imports are expected to increase nearly 11% this year to meet increasing domestic demand , said China National Minerals Co (Minco). "Chinese chrome ore imports this year will be more than 7.5 million tonnes; the average price will be at $300-350 per tonne ," said Zhang Shuo, manager of Minco's ferro-alloys and stainless steel department.
