Notie:
I think your comment about 'lipstick' is generally true. However, I would like everyone to ponder whether SPQ is a 'better investment' now vs. last year at this time.
Why? Big Daddy for one thing. Plus what FWR and NOT are finding. Plus, I think the ROF generally is a better investment. There have been more drill holes, more data. More James Mungall data. Just some more points for discussion.
I checked MTX (Metalex Ventures) which did a reverse split (1:10) at the end of March. The share price then was 4.5 cents. The reverse split changed it to 45 cents. Today it closed at 59 cents.
Personally I think Neil Novak would be astounded if the retail shareholder suggested a reverse split. But I continue to wonder whether the timing might be right. The global economy still is way down (but there is a glimmer of hope); the ROF is revealing more and more riches; and the governments (Canadian) are showing more interest.
A gutsy RS move to 50 million shares outstanding might put a chunk of change in the bank for more drill bits and exploration. In fact Neil could pull the present PP and issue it at a greater premium and reduce any dilution.
(I wonder what KWG would think of it? :)
Just some more thoughts for discussion.
