Great post! Love it. And I guess it figures, a railroad dude from Hornepayne, ON, would know about the rail industry.

I can just picture you standing there, retired with a Tim Hortons in your hand (truly Canadian), with a huge smile on your face as the rail cars filled with ore rumble by with tonnes of chromite. Ah yes. A fine picture!

Educate me on one thing. You write "Nothing would make me happier than to stop and lift these cars..." What are you doing when you do this? Is it a humungous machine you're talking about? Are there any pictures on the web to help explain?
