Sorry one other thing - is the US debt would also include the social security liability - a number that may well take the US Debt to well over the 60Trillion range. It is absolutely outrageous what we are seeing right now. Normally, with an election year, you would not see such volitility - but this thing is taking a life of its own and the powers that be simply cannot stop the train that is leaving the station!
