As I have noted previously, my "face-to-face" discussion with Jim Voisin have been jovial and enlightening. He's heavily invested personally in the Ring of Fire.
He's also known Neil Novak for 27 years. And he knows the McFaulds area too. Very well.
So something is percolating with regards to the JV. John D. asked me personally to chat with Jim Voisin at PDAC, which I did. I asked him directly about the JV, and he said it was in the hands of the lawyers. John knows this, and his frustration is my frustration because we're sitting on some very prime real estate.
The unknown here is KWG. They have a sweetheart deal at McFaulds. Quite literally they can sit back, put a few bucks into the pot, and watch the action. Unfortunately, their lawyers might be doing too much sitting, and not doing enough signing of documents.
John can speak for himself - and he will. But he's a concerned and vigilant investor, and we're the better for it.
