Creator of award winning eers custom-fitted earphones
This is not the one that uses the Sonofit technology. However, I believe that they could easily adapt the custom fit moult so that it will marry to the driver creating a perfect solution for people wanting a bud that will not fall out, is comfortable, and affordable.
This looks great. I am expecting some great news from Sonomax in the coming months. The CES is now only 6 months away and believe it or not, companies are already planning their big show! I would expect 1 or more additional OEM deals for Sonomax to be signed BEFOR the next CES show.
WHY?
Simple, Skullcandy is huge, no one will question that. What would you do if your competitor just adopted the latest greatest in ear customization technology? Personally I would be trying to jump on that band wagon and beat them to the market!
I am expecting Skullcandy to launch a headset using Sonofit technology at the CES. I also expect another company or more to try.
I also expect Sonomax to launch their next innovative product at the CES. For those of you following the company you know what the options are. For those of you not following you will have to do a little research
WHO?
So who would want this technology? Well, absolutely anyone marketing any form of listening device be it a cell phone, mp3 player, etc. There is a few retail products that are already “custom” fit. The first that comes to mind is Monster. They sell a bud set that comes with about 20 different ear parts that you simply test until you find the best fit for you. Sadly, this is the best on the market and that’s about to change. Do you think that Monster is willing to just give up the market share on custom fit? I don’t think so. I would expect that they will want in on this action.
What about Research in Motion. These guys are in desperate need of something new and innovative. Perhaps they can be the first cell phone manufacturer to bring custom fit blue tooth to the market. Their business cliental would love it! If RIM simply adopts the Sonofit technology you can bet that Apple will follow suit shortly thereafter. Or the trend could happen in reverse where Apple adopts the technology first. Don’t forget the other big names wanting to forge a reputation in the smart phone market share, Samsung, Motorola, and HTC are a few big names. The problem, or blessing, here is that anyone one of these companies striking a deal could represent the proverbial tiger by the tail and Sonomax could easily be swallowed whole to prevent competitors from using the technology.
HERE AND NOW?
So right now everything is speculation with the exception of Skullcandy. This OEM will bring many more OEM’s to the table for Sonomax regardless of who they are. We are sitting on the front of a rocket that has just had the ignition switch turned on.
Aside from the OEM deals please do not forget that Sonomax has its own manufacturing and retail distribution deals. While OEM’s may come and go Sonomax will be building its one base income stream which will create stability and sustainability in the company. In any event Sonomax is here to stay and they will deliver share holder value through any means necessary. Keep in mind that there are already no less then 4 new products set to launch in the coming months or years. I suspect that number may in reality exceed 10-12 new products because the hearing technology segment has not have any revolutionary changes in a very long time. Sonomax is the company that is going to change that!
WHAT TO DO?
Well, my personally answer to this was to BUY BUY BUY. I have been buying shares from 6-8 cents for about a year now and I am holding on tight. Do your own DD and make your own call. I have high hopes for Sonomax and I believe with conviction that Sonomax will deliver.
Good Luck!
