On a personal level, I have had no problem - fortunately I have had excellent health for many, many years & haven't missed a day's work in the last 15 yrs. Having had medical family members at a much younger age (both now dead) of course helped tremendously. System is not perfect - but generally has been very good. No one is turned away! Not looking at your bank balance 1st before emergency treatment. Delays can sometimes be frustrating though re specialists unless it is an emergency.
