Be glad you live in Canada. If you ever get a chance, read a newsletter called Early Warning Report by Richard Maybury. I have been subscribed to him for almost 10 yrs now, and he has ALWAYS been right on the money. He also has made some outstanding investment suggestions(my favorite: Force Protection @ $.088 and got to $32)
