I imagine most of the drilling is for defining the size and shape of the various ore bodies so that an appropriate mining plan can be drawn up to effiiciently mine each ore body.

It takes a lot of work to build an infrastructre in preparation for extracting the ore in an efficient way so half the ore is is not left behind..

When building a sky scraper the most imortant part is the foundation which shows the least progress. Same thing goes for building a mine.

If one doesn't have the patience, perhaps they should not invest in junior mining stocks.
