Excellent points, however we must pay attention to all points of view. Remember Joe Granville? The one really interesting point that I have started to pick up on expressed by many of those in the major market correction camp. Most are now saying the Dow may not fall at all. If currency devalues, then the Dow at the same level it is today will be worth less. An example would be if Gold stayed at $1,000.00 then the Dow would drop to 1000 points, however if Gold surges to $5,000.00, then then Dow would only need to drop to 5,000 to produce the same loss of value or buying power. This is probably one of those once in a lifetime experiences and maybe that is why we see the same old problems over and over throughout history. Maybe if I lose all my money on SGR stock, and if I pay enough attention, maybe I can write a book to help me through my Golden Years. lol
