I love the theories, but please don't fault the reasoning used by these guys for going to the hinge first. Take a look at the pdf from yesterday which shows a crosssection of the mines. The ramp to the Cartwright if permitting and equipt arrival dates hadn't interfered would probably be still under construction as the distance is double that of the hinge, so mining of the lower grade ore at the Cartwright wouldn't have occurred any time sooner than the hinge. They also did the collar blasting when a crew came to town for a job for the government, had some down time and gave the SanGold people a deal if they could do the blasting while in town for the other project, otherwise the collar probably still wouldn't have happened due to manpower shortage. That should abate now with the mines closing all over Canada.
