Message: BET inhibition and epilepsy

For some reason i could not post them here, but see sections 5.1 and 5.2 especially.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5565684/#!po=31.5385

5.1  Role of BETs inhibitors in epilepsy

and

5.2. Development of BET bromodomains inhibitors in epilepsy

JQ1 is discussed here and we are not.

But IF i am not mistaken, (Bear?, others?)

The mechanisms described as to why JQ1 works look similar to the reasons why Apabetalone could conceivably work too, but with less toxicity. Maybe?

There are of course also more recent articles, but the one above was interesting.

The one below also looked like it MIGHT be interesting, but i could not get at it.
