fouremm - Unfortunitly I can not argue your point at all. Yes I would agree that it would be a legit hedge. Shorting 500K shares would take 11%ish of their risk off the table before the deal ever closed. That would leave them with 100k shares to bonus them on their loan if the science works the way we hope it does.
