Good news from the FDA. It is another indication of what I believe is the strength of the quality of the BoM trial and the scientists involved.
The share price seems to be recovering from the dramatic hit it took with the Apr 17th announcement of offering of units on a best efforts basis through Bloom Burton. The withdrawal of the offering on June 8th. Almost 2 months...what took so long. So the funding to hopefully complete BoM is in place. Also RVX is back in the good books with the TSX.
The press release on June 7 re old information re HIV I guess was good to hear again but it clearly demonstrated the passive approach toward brand building as evidenced by Don's solicitation for groups involved in this disease to contact him. RVX should be actively building relationships with all of these organizations and also all of the CVD and DM organizations including Hypertension Canada. The BIO International presentation by Don was the same old info and achieved nothing that was obvious. Perhaps it helps behind the scenes.
While I do agree that RVX must be visible at these high profile presentations they have achieved nothing that is evident from a share price/value creation perspective. Anyway we have discussed that issue many times.
In my opinion the share price remains deeply undervalued and I believe that is because the incredible good news is not getting out.
Anyway, the marketing side of the equation will not be solved but a very positive SSRA or positive top line results I believe could yield a flood of press coverage out of the control of RVX and that is fine.
I'm glad to hear that Dr Wong is presenting to experts in the HDL field. He could stimulate some scientific interest among peers and competitors. This could build brand credibility within this group and have some sort of long term impact. Who knows, if some or the scientists are from BPs the presentation may open doors.
I've been studying all the posts and it seems we are again in an information vacuum re whether there will be an SSRA, will it be a bSSRA, etc.
I'm frustrated but positive and hoping for the positive scientific news to continue. It is a real shame that this little gem is not be marketed.
