Excellent points fouremm and I agree re the CKD. Don's inability to fund is holding everything up and the signs don't look good. Hepalink is on the move in a few countries and this suggests they are quietly building.
I think we have Don pegged so I guess enough said. I'll try to stop harping about him. It is what it is and I sure can't do anything about it. He might be getting to the point of losing power if a few of the big boys/girls become fed up. He used to be able to source money when Ken Dart liked what Dr Wong was discovering but those days are gone.
I certainly wonder why he and the RVX team cannot establish the value of this company. RVX has never had a successful drug. It's not even listed on NASDAQ. Epigenetics is a relatively new field and the primary focus of attention seems to be cancers. As I understand Resverlogix with apabetalone is unique in the field of CVD, DM, CKD, etc. Apabetalone acts in amultimodal MOA and perhaps this is difficult for other scientists to accept. I'm sure scientists working for BP are very conservative in terms of risk management (they don't want to be labelled with influencing a multibillion $ mistake). It seems like BP are quite willing to sit back and wait.
As has been pointed out by others BP seems to be interested in proven drugs. The example I remember is that enzalutimide was on the market as a SOC drug for mCRPC for 4 years before Pfizer paid $14 billion to purchase 50% of enzalutimide from Medivation. If that holds for apabetalone we're talking 2025 perhaps.
Tada, thanks as always for your valuable posts. I sure hope you are right about the couple of LOI's Don mentioned. I sure would like to see a deal that demonstrates that Don is not begging on his hands and knees.
Oh well, tomorrow starts a new business week and Don will do his dog and pony at the NYC CEO and investor conference. Perhaps he'll surprise us with good news prior to the conference.
For now I'm going to watch the Olympics. Lets hope we have a good RVX week.
Cheers
