KK2 - Your understanding is not correct. KD (Eastern) does not hold all of the compounds with the prefix of RVX as security for the city loan. Only the ones that were in place up to the time the loan was arranged. 

There has been a lot of IP filed since then.

IND is a new drug application which could be for any compound, new or old.
