I have dealt with the type of personality described in that article, and in my experience the central characteristics with these types of individuals remain the same.  There are many business types who operate under an automatic assumption that everyone is out to screw them over.....call it a persecution comlplex if you want.  As such they fell it incumbant upon themselves to put the screws to others.  Its not an unreasonable assumption incidentally, in business the notion that "everyone is a winner" is something that doesn't often hold sway.
