We would not sell the company at this point because we believe RVX is significantly undervalued." He then goes on to say that Canadien Cos have been acquired at premiums of 500-800% and RVX is investigating switching to the Nasdaq to gain more accurate valuation. The inference is that they are for sale at a substantial premium of 500% or more but certainly not at a 30-40% premium over current values. Reading between the lines I surmise that there have been negotiations and offers from BP at a number far less than a billion and nowhere near the speculated values of 4-20 billion or more that I've seen tossed around on RVX boards. What is RVX worth? Right now it's a promising compound and could be a "wonder drug" but it also is a developmental enterprise with 0 sales without approval to market hence the sharks can have their way. I agree with Don's posturing - he believes he'll get that pot at the end of the rainbow. If you are into this as I am, you're a believer - and I know you are. I do believe in the science but I also know this could go either way and I stand to loose a tidy sum if I'm not careful.
