As Bencro (poster from other forum) had mentioned: he speculated that Basim Faraj who was Talisman's top shale gas engineer that came over the QEC recently. He is from India and QEC could possibly be looking for some international interests. Now when I spoke with Anela, she had mentioned they were looking for opportunities in Canada and Internationally. She didn't really elaborate and take it with a grain of salt btw.

India is a ridiculous consumer of natural gas and they are spending tens of billions a year importing it. So they would be probably look to quickly take advantage of this.

Anyway, take it with a grain of salt but interesting to think about anyway.
