Jinxer,

I actually do understand. Sure I'm on the optimistic side, hopefully that's not bad lol. I guess it's the fact that I've held this for 3 years and sort of built of a tolerance to it. I've never had a stock in my portofolio for that long. No but don't get me wrong. I know it's tough to wait...kind of a wierd thing to think that a year has almost passed us by. It sucks to to have to wait of course, but I guess everyone's a bit different in the way they see things. Like for me, I've emailed the company and asked a bunch of times and done everything to know to why and I could feel that they would love to get the news, but they can't do anything about it...so I can't either ya know. There could be a dozen reasons as to why we don't have results now. I don't the drilling process exactly, but maybe they underestimated the time needed in the first place, or maybe it's a strategic move on their part...who knows.

My mentallity is that we have another great partner commited as they have mentioned in their 2009 budget, some other majors partnered with other jrs who have to drill a lot of wells to earn interest...so going forward (my time frame being what will we have a year from now), and that is quite a few good solid wells in our path. I look at the positive because well frankly it's something that we have to work with. I've sent Forest a ton of emails, no answer. I know some other ppl called, but only a single member of the board is allowed to comment on Quebec...they keep it pretty secret.

Anywho, JQ makes a good point. In response the the takeover though...speaking in generalities, takeover offers don't happen unless companies are fairly certain it's worth something...I mean say you use $2, still $400 million for qec, which is a good chunk of change and don't think no matter how big a company, would plan on wasting that, we just don't see that very often is what I'm saying....that's just my opinion though.

I know you mention the price of not selling at $2. The thing is, few can time the market or predict when news will be out. Who predicted the bombshell Forest dropped last year? I knew news was coming, but I thought it was going to be a couple months after April. I'm sure there are investors that are kicking themselves for buying at $5 as well...that's the systematic risk that comes with the markets...can't diversify it, it's always there. I don't look at prices dropping directly as investors losing confidence. You have to look at who is selling, who is buying. Also, the price drops have been on small volume. I'm sure you've seen trading patterns before. Why bid $2 if you can get in at $1.70 (just an example). But with a high beta stock like this, we all saw last year what results can do for it within a single day you could be at $3 or higher...that's why the price thing doesn't bother me as much as some others...because I'd rather not risk trying to time it and that if I missed out, I could be in trouble trying to chase. Others though have a different look on it and use it to their advantage quite well. It seems the excitement has been taken out as with many plays, but it doesn't take much to bring it back either.

Anywho, I've clearly rammbled on, but I 100% understand where you're coming from! And by no means will anybody be yelling at you on this board. That's why it's a pleasure to be on here with everyone. Not to mention that I've actually learned a million new things from our members and that's a rarity with online stock boards.
