If we surmise one or both of the large drosrite deals are in Saudi Arabia..., there are things going on in that part of the world  that are not so good.  Saudi Arabia flew 37 sorties yesterday in Yemen. 
Yea I know I know it's only Yemenis so it's not on the military industrial complex media outlets radar.. That war is sanctioned so it would seem.. There are all kinds of numbers out there but some put the casualties in the 10's of thousands.. No matter one's politics, those numbers are real and the casualites of civillians are always in those numbers. 

The Kingdom has deemed this conflict is vital for their own national security. Iran is sturring this hornets nest to exact a means to an end for their own gain. Their people are not the benefactor. The Mullah's themselves are a criminal enterprise siphoning the wealth from the Iranian citizenry.

The Saudi Government as I understand it, are part ownership of whichever company/ies will purchase the drosrite systems. (If we are to believe the potential deal is in Saudi Arabia)
It could be that the preservation of capital is a priortity over transitioning to a want rather than a need. They may deem the capital may be needed for munitions.

One could argue they are a wealthy nation and it's a drop in the bucket.. That would be a fair assumption. They also do not know the duration of this conflict so making these purchases now may not be pennywise on the other side of the equation.. There may also be a threat assessment in that purchasing these units only to have them be damaged by drone strikes, rocket fire, etc could come into play. 

Your question is valid as has been many with the timelines of other verticles we await updates on. 
We are on the outside looking in and has the share price drops religiously, that only exacerbates the angst.. We are left to our own vices until we get official word. It can be frustrating for sure.
