Hi Tau

Potash consumption in Asia is out of sight ..China,Japan..all the rest use millions of tons of potash..The United States uses zillion of tons..Crops like Corn and soy beans are huge consumers of potash..Brazil is huge with their coffee crops..

All take millions of tons of potash..Saskatchewan is literally siting on a sea of potash hundreds of meters thick..

I like Western Potash (WPX)because in stead of a large underground pit mining operation, their deposit is suitable for solution mining..basically drill two holes in the ground, pump hot water down one hole and suck dissolved potash in the water solution out the other hole..Cheap and when they were drilling for potash they hit natural gas..!!!so they have enough natural gas for all their power and heating requirements.

You gotta like that,.

Learn lots about potash here..
