Actually, I'm not recommending Northern Dynasty. The greater leverage is with LBSR, on which I'm riding free shares after selling half after a 4-bagger. Yes, any project there will require huge capital, since it is low grade and will be massive open pits in an isolated area with little infrastructure. But Hunter Dickinson will provide the capital. $6B for capital compared to Barrick's $3B for 24M oz- but they are talking 100M oz for Pebble- and the gold is not the main focus of the project, the copper is. And the indications are that LBSR's claims contain the equivalent of 6-7 Pebbles.
Ordinarily this isn't the type of project I would invest in, but I managed to pick up some LBSR during the recent runup. Didn't get in at .002, but at .02, sold half at .10. It went to .18, and is now at .04-.05. I expect a run when/if they announce a partnership w/ NAK or drilling results. I'll think of selling some or all of the rest then. Not sure I want it sitting around for the years it will take to get to production.
