Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
I think there are as many ways to invest successfully (and unsuccessfully!) as there are ways to win a baseball game. I think buying on dips in the volitile jr mining arena might be a much better way to go than buying on new highs. More so than buying, ihave a hell of a time deciding to sell. GRMN is a classic case of how I like to do things. With good, growing earnings and I good products (I own some), it had a solid base of about $50 this spring, not able to break $60. I bought 100 shares near $50, anticipating another attempt at a new high. A couple weeks later, it was just under $60. One morining I checke on it, it was about $65 and climbing on huge volume. I bought 200 shares and watched it go. It hit120 in Sept, I had sold 100 and had 200 left to watch it slip back to $95 (see what I mean about selling!?). Had I watched GRMN for some time , I could have bought on dips many months before to see it make minor gains. The new high on volume was the buy signal.
Charts do reflec teh psychology in the market. Have you read Livermore's book How to Trade in Stocks? While he didn't use charts per se, he watched the price patterns for pivot points and bbought based on that, one of his favourite pivots being new highs.
good about African solar. Hey, with all that sand inthe Sahara, why don't they use some of the power to make it into silicon...?
I too have been wordy, but love the subject!
