The 17 feet Ganpati idol (picture below) at the Gaud Saraswat Brahmin Mandal at King's Circle has a jaw-dropping 68 kilos of Gold and 435 kilos of silver.

Considering current rates, the value comes to almost Rs 20 Crore!! Moreover, it is insured for Rs1835 Crore, rediff.com reports.
