that when capping at 60 gpt you drop the indicated in half, from 111,450 to 56,970 ounces. This means that half the gold must have been very high grade, probably visible gold. It seems sort of consistent with historical mining in the area, and I suspect that the central golden mile would have been mined in the old fashion way of small scale mining.

It is a bit puzzling that we can have such very high grade, but then only in certain areas and pretty narrow veins.
