many years ago i worked for a mining company.....during my deployment with them i was enlisted to use a new instrument that counted particles of dust....by emiting gamma rays......this task required the wearing of a dosimeter....which was shipped of to elliot lake once a week for reading......the results generally came back.....stating that i was within allowable threshold limit values......however i always suspected they lied to me... as each of my children,then my grandchildren and now my greatgrandchildren came into this world i would count fingers and toes.........all there........................................................until i realized i had one.....................................village idiot........just like his old man.........could it be...........genetic..... or do you think i can blame that mining company........
