I'm not a fan of regular options either, but do understand their original intent - that being incentive to management in lue of cash compensation. However, it is to easy to take advantage of these and juniors are the biggest offenders. I don't think KXL has been overly aggressive with their options, but I'm still not a fan. I'd like to see options attached to performance somehow. I'd also like to see executive bonuses also attached to performance ... but that is just me.
As for more frequent NRs... I agree with Cedartree. There is a balance between the "pain in the azz" factor putting these things together and providing regular updates to support the share price at reasonable valuations. It is much easier to be patience when you are in the black!! Just my 2 cents.
