Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
Good conversation with Michael Petterson, Kodiak IR. Most of the drilling recently has been in the SE corner of the Golden Mile, which is the tail of the GM that cuts into the Gabbro dyke trending SW-NE crosswise to the GM. As Brian mentioned at the mining conference in the Spring, this end of the GM was initially written off to an extent as unlikely to have much in it, but when actually prospected gave surprisingly good results.
The one drill onsite has also been borrowed for short period over the last few months by other explorers. However, it is now at Golden Pond and a second drill should join it next week.
Other exploration teams have been working at Brenbar, and are now moving to Kaby Lake = Gold Rush. As Brian mentioned, the big surprise at Gold Rush was that the ore system wasn't 10m wide, it appears to be 100m wide, which of course makes it attractive for open pit. So there is lots of surface and near-surface work being done there.
A good deal of drill results came in during June, and their analysis is being completed just now. Michael reminded us of the resource estimate that Brian Maher expected would be produced over the Fall/Winter. They will be at the mining conference in Toronto September 26 and 27, and also one in Denver.
